Enhancing the Voice of Epiphany

A musical legacy for worship, community and generations to come.

For more than 120 years, Epiphany's pipe organ has accompanied worship, celebration and remembrance. As we approach our 175th anniversary in 2027, we have an opportunity to honour that heritage while giving our historic organ a fuller, richer voice.

Our goal is to raise $75,000 to enhance the organ, support its installation and invest in the future of church music.

Our organ is more than an instrument. It accompanies congregational singing, supports our choir and enriches weddings, funerals and special services. Through concerts and recitals, its music also reaches beyond our congregation into the wider Kingsville community.
The instrument includes components dating to 1903 and was substantially refurbished in 2012, when parishioners and friends raised approximately $60,000 within weeks. Today, we have another opportunity to build upon that generosity.
Currently, our organ speaks primarily from the front of the sanctuary. The proposed addition will introduce approximately 231 pipes at the rear of the church, above the main entrance near the rose window.
These pipes, arranged in three ranks—flute, string and diapason—will be played from the existing organ console. They will bring music from both ends of the sanctuary, adding depth, clarity and presence to worship, congregational singing and musical performances.
We are not replacing our historic organ. We are extending its voice.

Why Your Support Matters

Enrich Our Worship

Bring greater musical depth to congregational singing, choir and special services.

Strengthen Our Community

Enhance concerts, recitals and other musical opportunities that welcome people into our church.

Preserve Our Heritage

Give new purpose to historic pipework sourced from decommissioned church organs.

Invest in Our Future Musicians

Support a proposed Organ Scholar program to encourage and mentor the next generation of church musicians.

Our campaign will support the complete project, including:

  • Organ work: Approximately $43,500 plus HST, based on Oxford Organ Company's current quotation.
  • Installation and supporting services: Electrical work, drilling/coring and other work necessary to complete the installation.
  • Organ Scholar program: Approximately $10,000 proposed to support future musical leadership.

The $75,000 goal brings these elements together, supporting both the instrument itself and the people who will carry Epiphany's musical tradition forward.

In 2027, Epiphany will celebrate 175 years of faith and service in Kingsville.

This project offers an opportunity to mark that milestone with something lasting—not simply an anniversary celebration, but an investment that will enrich worship and community life for generations.

Historic pipes that might otherwise be lost will find a new home, continuing a musical tradition that has been part of Epiphany's life for more than a century.

We invite parishioners, friends and members of the wider community to be part of this anniversary legacy.

Support can take many forms: individual donations, memorial or honour gifts, Adopt-a-Pipe sponsorships, major gifts, grants and community fundraising.

Every contribution brings us closer to our $75,000 goal.
